HOW LONG IS THE POLICY TERM?
The policy term can be a one, two, or three year term and is renewable upon expiration of the policy.

WHEN DOES MY COVERAGE BEGIN?
There is a 30-day waiting period from the date that you sign up before coverage begins.

I HAVE AN OLDER HOME, DO I QUALIFY FOR THE VFW HOME WARRANTY PROGRAM?
Yes, it does not matter if your home is brand new or 50 years old, you may purchase the HomeReliance® Plan coverage

IF I SELL MY HOME, IS MY HOMERELIANCE PLAN® TRANSFERABLE?
This Agreement may be transferred by you to a new occupant if you sell your home. There is a $15 transfer fee. (No fee in TX & FL)

WHAT IF I HAVE A CLAIM, BUT THE ITEM IS NOT REPAIRABLE?
It the item is not repairable or if it is not cost effective to repair it, your covered item may be replaced with a new product of like kind and quality

IF I HAVE A MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY IN PLACE, MAY I STILL FILE A CLAIM UNDER THE HOMERELIANCE PLAN®?
The manufacturer is responsible for any items covered under their warranty. The HomeReliance Plan® will pay for any covered repair expense not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
